Stylish, large (82sqm), shabby-chic Altbau apartment in the heart of the charming Scandinavian neighbourhood in Prenzlauer Berg. High ceilings, danish design furniture, great location close to Mitte. I am a professional photographer and work freelance for a variety of clients, plus have my personal long-term projects I am working on.

I am primarily interested in swapping with an apartment of similar refinement and appealing location in Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea, ideally for 3-6 months. But I am also open for suggestions from elsewhere, if you have a cool pad. So, if you are considering spending some time in Berlin please get in touch, perhaps it's a good fit and we can make the swap happen.

My space
Very neat and clean, large (82 square meters), classic (Altbau) yet modern minimalist Prenzlauer Berg apartment furnished with quality danish design furniture. Comes with a large eclectic collection of books. I'd say the apartment is ideal for a single traveler or a couple.

The very large bedroom has a kind size bed and comes with white cotton sheets. The office with its 4-meter long desk is perfect for work and creative pursuits. You will have access to my fast internet (500/25 Mbits) connection, but make sure to use it responsibly. The kitchen comes with a built in high-end water filtration system that in a first step purifies the tap water and in a second step energizes the water to make it soft and beautiful.

This is my home when not away, which means you will find most things you could need during your stay in the apartment. The apartment is perfect for travelers who want the comfort of a large but unassuming space, good taste, and easy access to everything.

Loud music and noise at home are not an option. If you come to Berlin to party (at home) please keep looking elsewhere. My apartment is also strictly non-smoking, there is a balcony if you must. My space is also not available for photo shoots or film sets or anything alike unless very clearly agreed upon in advance.

The apartment is well situated in the heart of the Scandinavian neighbourhood in Prenzlauer Berg, close to Arnimplatz. Several great cafes including the specialty coffee shop Kraft are a minute's walk away. There's a great bio supermarket in walking distance too. The famous Mauerpark and its legendary Sunday flee market are a 15 minutes walk away.

Access to public transport is easy too: S-Bahnhof Bornholmer Strasse is 5 minutes on foot, U-Bahn Schönhauser Allee is 10 minutes on foot. The new Berlin airport is about 45 minutes away by public transport.

Bicycles can be rented around the corner for 12 EUR/day or 60 EUR/week.
